For as long as I can remember, I’ve been creative. One of my earliest memories is putting on singing performances for my cousins and afterward asking them to judge my impromptu performance. As I got older, I enjoyed tactile arts and developed a love for working with clay. My hobby was making tiny clay animals that I would kiln in the oven. As my other hobbies came and went, my fondness for music and singing remained. I sang in concert choir and jazz choir throughout elementary, middle, and high school and had the pleasure of taking professional vocal lessons. After high school, I attended a local community college to get my degree in nursing. However, life had other plans for me, and by the time I got through chemistry and calculous prerequisites, I decided I wanted to do something more creative. I settled on digital media and began learning Html, CSS, and most of the digital editing software in the Adobe Creative Suite. During my senior year of high school, I started working with Kentyn on advertising and media for hotels. Our first hotel project was Carmel Mission Inn in Carmel Valley, California. Throughout the years, I’ve had the immense pleasure of traveling throughout the Pacific Northwest to work on various creative projects for many unique hotels. In this Connected Hospitality blog, I’ll be talking about media, photography, and travel!
